If there’s one thing I don’t love about London it’s the lack of greenery. However, when you do find a green space it is generally glorious. My favourite green space in London is St James Park but today I stumbled upon this beauty at Wandsworth Common πŸ’œ

Been having a really crappy few days and today was especially horrid but I’ve had someone nudging at me to keep me going and then I was looking for something and found this. It belonged to a very good friend of mine and I stole it from him more than 10 years ago. I thought I’d lost it. I’m so happy I didn’t!! *crying happy tears*

I love it when my fleece comes out of the tumble drier. I can wrap myself up in it and be a big toasty burrito!!

It might seem counterintuitive to post this one as something that makes me happy but crying can be quite cathartic. Sometimes we need to purge ourselves of pent up emotions and frustrations. It’s even more soothing when you have someone there for you who will hold you in their arms and silently reassure you that everything will be ok. As Charles Dickens once said “we need never be ashamed of our tears”

Want to make a Labyrinth t shirt but not sure which version of the worm I prefer. Which do you like??

I love it when friends from different parts of my life come together. The wonderfully talented Jonathan Dalton and the exquisitely beautiful Vivacity Bliss are now acquainted and will hopefully be coming together very soon to create something extraordinary πŸ˜ƒ

Today I spent a fun day with Josie and we went to Highgate cemetery which is amazing. Got to see where Karl Marx is buried and saw a way creepy bust of Bruce Reynolds, the mastermind behind the Great Train Robbery! πŸ˜ƒ

Today started off a bit poo. I woke up too early felt really crappy and weepy but I had my arm twisted into going to Lucha by James and Le Snake-Fervor and ended up having an amazing time πŸ’œπŸ’œ

Today I volunteered at the Time to Change pop up village at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. I spoke to a number of people about mental health issues including my own problems. It was fun but most of the day I was running on adrenaline. I felt some anxiety afterwards but managed to avoid a crisis which is the third time in a row this week!!

I’ve always loved magic, especially card tricks. There are a few little tricks I taught myself to amuse and entertain kids and today in my interview I managed to keep 4 girls aged 4-9 enraptured for 30 minutes whilst mum prepared tea!

Today was a busy day. Had my volunteer training for 4 hours then straight into an interview. Ended up an hour late because a bus driver misinformed me of directions and took me to Hackney. Found out that I had only been 5 minutes away in the first instance, I’d just come out the wrong end of the station. Narrowly avoided a panic attack. Got splashed by a car on my way to my interview and almost fell down the gap at Bank station but all’s well that ends well and what could be better than ending with a rainbow?! #thinkhappythoughts
